“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9 (NIV)
Calling isn't always a clear, shining signpost. More often, it’s a path you discover step by step—one that winds through seasons, detours, and quiet moments of faithfulness.
It grows with you.
It changes shape as you do.Sometimes God calls you into a role that feels big and bold.
Other times, He calls you into something quiet.Sometimes He says, “Go.”
Other times, “Stay.”
And often, just, “Trust Me.”Right now, your calling might look like staying home, building something, raising someone, learning, healing, serving, or waiting.
But it doesn’t mean you’re stuck.
And it definitely doesn’t mean it’s the only chapter.Because when Jesus leads, the calling isn’t a job title—it’s a way of living.
It’s listening.
Following.
Surrendering. It’s choosing to trust Him not only with where you are, but with where you’re headed—even if you can’t see the whole map.
Every moment can carry purpose when you let Him steer.
Even the hidden ones. Especially the hidden ones. So, if your calling feels like it’s shifting or if you're wondering whether you missed your “real” purpose—take a deep breath.
You’re not off-track.
You’re becoming—just as He designed.
🙏 Prayer:
God,
Thank You for being the author of my story. I surrender the need to figure it all out and instead ask You to guide me one step at a time.
Help me to find joy in today’s calling, and peace in knowing You’ll lead me when it’s time for something new.My life is in Your hands—every chapter, every page.
Amen.
