“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
There are seasons when everything inside you wants to move—
To fix something.
To prove your worth.
To step into the next thing already. But instead, God says, “Wait.”
And not with a detailed timeline or a clear finish line.
Just… wait.Waiting can feel like punishment when you don’t understand its purpose.
It can feel like you're doing something wrong when life goes still. But often, it’s in the waiting where the real work begins.
God doesn’t waste that space.
He uses it to soften, prepare, realign, and restore. The roots of your calling grow deeper when they’re not being tugged on every day.
The quiet becomes a classroom.
The slowness becomes sacred.Even Jesus waited—thirty years of faithful, hidden obedience before stepping into His public calling.
And if the Son of God wasn’t in a hurry, we don’t have to be either. So, if you’re in a season where it feels like nothing is happening—
Where prayers seem to linger unanswered and purpose feels distant—
Don’t give up.God sees you.
And when the time is right, the harvest will come.
🙏 Prayer:
Father,
I want to believe that this waiting has meaning. Even when I can’t see progress, I know You’re still working.
Teach me to rest instead of rush, trust instead of strive.
Let this season prepare me for the one to come.
Amen.
